I live in La Crosse, WI on the other side of the State from Milwaukee Wisconsin where this project is being coordinated.
I am involved in the university system, and I managed to get a hold of David Hamer, a professor in the Physics dept. involved with the ligo and geo research as to the status of the site and availability of resources.
When I get this information, as he is a very busy man, I will post an update as soon as it is received.
